Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)

Ministries

  • Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday Afternoons: 
    4:45 to 6:00 PM on Church Grounds

  • Monday Night:  1st through 6th grade
    Tamanend Junior High School, 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM

  • Tuesday Night:  1st through 6th grade on Church Grounds
    6:30 PM to 7:45 PM

  • GENESIS is an Integrated Youth Ministry Program with Faith Formation as its Core. It is designed specifically for our 7th and 8th grade parishioners. The schedule of events is published throughout the year and communicated to both parents and youth as necessary. Please refer to the Parish Religious Education section of the website for more information.

  • LIFETEEN meets on the third Sunday of the month at 6:00PM beginning with a youth Mass in church followed by a LIFE NITE in the social hall until 8:00PM.

  • RCIA:  Tuesday evenings 7:30 in the Rectory

  • Outreach Program

  • Bereavement Circle - Meets every Wednesday

  • Guitar and Choir Rehearsal - Meets weekly

  • Senior Citizens Group

  • Bible Study – Meets weekly on Wednesdays

Novenas

Care of the Sick

  • In honor of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal after Mass on Sunday.

  • In honor of The Sacred Heart after Mass on First Friday. In honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help - Every Friday evening at 7:00 PM.

  • Please notify the Rectory if someone in your home is ill. We will be happy to bring Sacraments.

  • Also, notify us when someone goes to the hospital and we will be sure to visit.

Sacrament of Matrimony

  • Sunday after last Mass by appointment.

  • Parents and God-parents should attend Pre-Baptismal classes - usually held the Fourth Thursday of every month in the Rectory.

  • Godparents who live outside St. Cyril Parish must present a certificate of eligibility from their parish at least one week in advance.

  • Necessary preparations require that arrangements be made at least 6 months before the date of the wedding.

  • It will be expected that couples attend the sessions of the Archdiocesan Sacramental Preparation Program for marriage.
